New Hire Spotlight: Jessie Hilliard Joins Mile Two as CFO

Mile Two welcomes new CFO Jessie Hilliard, continuing growth and expansion plans well into 2021.

Mile Two is excited to announce that Jessie Hilliard has joined the company as our new chief financial officer (CFO). As CFO, Jessie is responsible for all financial management operations including accounting, financial planning and analysis, financial systems, tax, audit, treasury, compliance, and strategy. She brings over 15 years of expertise in finance and accounting, business transformation, building scalable infrastructures, and operational efficiencies.

Before joining Mile Two, Jessie served in senior leadership roles within government contracting industries such as software development, biotechnology, healthcare, and environmental engineering. Her experience spans closely held and publicly traded companies, as well as consulting and public accounting firms.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Jessie earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mary Washington College as well as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certifications. She has resided in Virginia for the past 17 years and is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA), and the CFO Leadership Council.

Mile Two President Jeff Graley believes Jessie’s addition to the Mile Two team is “a great opportunity to add significant DoD experience to a key position” within the company. He also highlights that with Jessie’s hiring, Mile Two’s footprint now extends into the D.C Metro area.

Mile Two experienced significant milestones in 2020, celebrating a five-year anniversary and surpassing the 100-employee mark. Mile Two is thrilled to have Jessie join our team in 2021 as we look forward to an exciting year—engaging with new customers, continuing our growth, and moving into our new headquarters in downtown Dayton, Ohio.
