We Are Women Leaders: A Tech Presentation Skills Workshop

Join us on June 5, 2020, for a special online workshop.

Learn Best Practices for Developing an Effective Leadership Presence

This workshop offers strategic principles and interactive exercises that lead to consistent and impactful communication skills. We will pay special attention to issues many women leaders face: self-talk, imposter syndrome, body issues, and voice.

About The Speaker

Nancy Buffington is a public speaking trainer, coach, and consultant. She has an extensive portfolio creating interactive training that teaches women in the tech industry strategies to amplify their communication skills. She has taught public speaking at Stanford University, trained TEDxBoise speakers, and delivered similar workshops to tech companies. Find out more about Nancy.

Why Should You Attend?

We all deliver a message on daily basis at some capacity, perhaps by sharing our ideas during a brainstorming session, presenting our work to our teammates or a client, providing feedback to our coworkers, or leading meetings and collaborations. This is a great opportunity to learn new techniques to strengthen our communication skills, allowing us to lead with confidence the next time we have to present our work!

About our Women in Tech Group

The Women in Tech group aims to build a support system for all female engineers at Mile Two, create a space for thoughtful conversation on difficult topics, contribute to personal and professional development, and identify any extra training the group needs to achieve career growth. This effort is important because it allows us to create a community, communicate any issues we might be facing, and organize workshops and events that help us and other female engineers in the community grow.
