Medical Plans
Mile 2 offers two medical plans: a traditional PPO plan and an HSA. You can elect coverage for yourself, your spouse or domestic partner, and your dependents (if applicable). For employees in a high deductible plan, Mile 2 will contribute half of the plan’s deductible.

Holidays
Nine company-wide holidays and two floating holidays.

Paid Time Off
160 hours for employees with less than five years of service. 200 hours for employees with five or more years of service.

Parental Leave
Twenty days paid leave for parents of new children.

Available to all full-time employees and applicable dependents.

Vision
Available to all full-time employees and applicable dependents.

401K
Mile 2 contributes 3% into each enrolled employees’ 401k plan regardless of the employees’ contributions.

Group Life Insurance
Available to all full-time employees at 2x your annual salary up to a max of $200,000.

Short-Term Disability
Provides 60% of earnings up to 2k per week and lasts for 12 weeks.

Mental Health Benefits
Through Modern Health, all Mile 2 employees, their spouse, partner, and dependents, will have access to 6 free counseling sessions per year, 6 free coaching sessions per year, live webinars, self-guided courses, and guided meditations. Wait time for a counselor is approximately 24 hours. 

Additional free counseling is available through our ComPsych EAP (employee assistance program) for all full-time employees, and their spouse/partner and dependents.

Tuition Reimbursement
Educational assistance up to $10,500 per year.

Flexible Savings Account
Pre-tax contributions used for medical, dental, and vision expenses for PPO plan holders only.

Long-Term Disability
Provides 66.67% of earnings up to $5,000 per month.

Internship Program

Our internship program is designed to transition candidates between academia and building software solutions. The internship team may consist of developers, UX and UI designers, and human factors and CSE engineers. Each member will bring their expertise to bear on the project and learn to work in a collaborative team environment to develop artifacts and deliverables. The team will lean on senior Mile 2 staff for expertise, guidance, and mentorship.
